Terms of Service

The terms under which RVOS is provided.

Last updated: 12 July 2026

These terms govern your use of RVOS, a desktop AI operating system currently in development. By downloading or using RVOS, you agree to these terms. This document is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.

1Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use RVOS for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these terms. RVOS and its source materials remain the property of their respective owners.

2Acceptable use

You agree to use RVOS lawfully and responsibly. You will not:

  • Use RVOS to violate any law, regulation or third-party right.
  • Use RVOS to generate, store or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory or harmful.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the application beyond what is permitted by law.
  • Use RVOS to build a competing product or service.
  • Access or attempt to access another user's data without authorisation.

3AI output and your responsibility to review

RVOS uses AI to assist with tasks such as writing, summarising and organising information. AI output may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. It may also produce content that appears confident but is incorrect.

You must review all AI-generated output before relying on it or sharing it with others. RVOS does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying information produced by the AI.

4Your responsibility for published content

You retain ownership of all content you create within RVOS. When you publish or share content — whether directly from RVOS or through an integration — you are responsible for that content and for ensuring it does not violate any law or third-party right.

RVOS is a tool that assists you, but the decision to publish and the content itself remain yours. We are not responsible for the content you choose to create or share.

5Availability and changes during development

RVOS is in active development. Features described on this site and within the application reflect the product direction and may not all be currently available. Availability and features may change as development progresses — we may add, modify or remove features at any time.

You acknowledge that the software may contain bugs, incomplete features and other limitations typical of a product under development. We may release updates, patches or new versions, and some features may only be available in the latest version.

6Disclaimer of warranties

RVOS is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free or that results will be accurate or reliable.

7Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of RVOS is limited. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, or for loss of data, profits or business opportunities, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of RVOS shall not exceed the amount you paid for the application, if anything, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8Your data

You retain ownership of your content and data. As described in our Privacy Policy, your data is stored locally on your device by default. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.

9Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as RVOS evolves. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of RVOS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
